Response Letter to those who have sent in a Basic Audition

Dear Actor / Actress,

Thank you for your interest in auditioning for a film role in ‘The Scroll'. Your electronic portfolio through a ‘Basic Audition' will be reviewed and if successful we will call you for a live audition. You may wish to send a hard copy via mail marked ‘Basic Audition', see the address below. We will try to get back to you within a few weeks. Unfortunately due to the large amount of candidates we may not be able to contact everyone however we will keep you on file.

Deeper Insight Productions with its partner producers has a number of projects in both film and television coming up over the next few years.

We will be looking for local talent both professional actors and those who are aspiring to be actors for projects in both Australia and overseas. Like any job interview the more we know about you the greater the chance of employment. We have your photos and a brief resume of your experience but this no doubt doesn't do you justice.

This means you could be just the person we are looking for but we may never get to meet you face to face. Like many other producers we simply don't have the time or want to allocate the resources to give everyone a live audition. This is why we have created the TV Series ‘Australian Action Star' where we can get a really good look at 100 potential action stars. If accepted in the show we guarantee you a live audition, further training in stunts, acting and fight choreography with the chance to win any number of roles. This is not a Reality TV Show that demeans or humiliates a professional actor, it is an opportunity for them to shine and get noticed along side other talent.

This TV Show will be broadcast in Australia and around the world which means contestants will be seen by a massive audience. One of our previous shows was K-Star which had contestants enter from 15 countries and was watched by 300 million people. The original prize was three movie contacts but over 20 contracts were offered by various producers who contributed to the show. Everyone who participated in the show was treated like a star throughout the series and many have gained further opportunities in the industry.

You never know your luck in the big city, so you have to be in it to win it.

Australian Action Star will be starting early 2009 and entering the show will give you the best chance of a film role with our production company. Those who have been accepted into the show will be given one month to prepare.

If you would like to enter Australian Action Star you can send the application form and $25 entry fee to the same address marked ‘Action Star'. Sending an entry form in for the TV Show does not guarantee your place in the Top 100 but it does guarantee you a fair review and a chance to win some of the other prizes.
