Deeper Insight Productions specializesin martial arts / sporting action projects whether it is an instructional DVD, a martial art tournament, a live TV Show or a Feature Film they can produce it.
Deeper Insight Production's Director Graham Slater started the business by creating instructional DVDs, corporate videos, short documentaries, video magazines mainly for the International Martial Arts Alliance. Deeper Insight Productions works closely with the International Martial Arts Alliance /
Martial Arts Australia and other martial arts associationsproviding all their multi media requirements. They in turn help lots of martial arts school owners promote their clubs by creating promotional videos for them.
Whilst working on instructional and promotional DVDs Deeper Insight Productions developed a unique communication tool they called Interactive Martial
Arts a video magazine. The first issue took nearly a year to develop and was produced as a html CD (100 page magazine) with one hour of video compressed into it. The magazine proved to be an excellent way to circulate lots of information to the martial arts industry in a very cost effective way. With some refinement issue two (200 page magazine) was launched in a pdf format which proved to be easier to navigate and consequently, much more popular. Two more issues were created before the magazine really took a leap forward by moving to a DVD format. This meant that the magazine could be split into two parts one section could have full screen video watched on TV and the magazine part watched or read on the PC. Issues four and five were created in this way with the content targeted at martial art instructors which limited its appeal to the general public as a retail product.
In 2006 Deeper Insight Productions joined forceswith the Australian Chinese Media Group to co produced Australian K-Star Competition (Kung Fu Star Reality TV Show) the search to find actors from the martial arts industry for movie roles. This then lead to working alongsideShenzen TV and other producers in China observing the creation of the international K-Star. Whilst in China Deeper Insight productions created their own documentary on the Shaolin Temple and K-Star. In 2007 Interactive Martial Arts video magazine was reshaped to appeal to the general public and became Martial Arts TV which was broadcast as a seven part series on C31 Community TV Melbourne. Using old footage from previous video magazines combined with new footage and introduced by four presenters in a relaxed and casual fashion the show was an instant hit.
ONE MILLION households have tuned into IMA TV in Melbourne since it starting broadcasting in October 2007 which got the networks excited and requesting a second series. IMA TV Media Pack 2mb pdf LINK
